So, I am on two message boards with DDCs. Apparently, I am very far behind on getting ready for baby (or, babies in my case). We don't have names. We don't have the room anywhere near ready. In fact, we need to clean and turn the office into a guest room before we can turn the guest room into a nursery. We haven't registered. Heck, I have no clue as to what to register for besides the basic stuff: car seats, pack and play, bouncy chairs, bottles. But I have no idea what else I am going to need.

So, basically, this is me saying I feel way far behind. And, the fact that I know these babies can come as early as January (heck, even the end of December!!!) freaks me out!!!!!!!!!!

BUT!! I did get myself a siggy! Let's see if it shows up . . . .

u know what I haven't done any of that stuff either I wasn't planning on setting stuff up until a few more months and I am thinking of starting to clear out this weekend though. I want to do a registry by the beginning of Dec as well.

First off- I am way too excited & anxious for my own good and want everything done now. Plus my DH is deployed and I have nothing better to do. . . So that's why I am so ahead of the game. We have her name. . . And her room is half clean, but lots to do still. And we've registered. . .

As far as registering. . . Would you like to see my registry to get an idea? Babies-R-Us kinda has a "top items on registry" thing both in store and on-line. But I didn't really use that. But if you wanna see my registry, let me know & I'll PM you my info.

But a little over view.. We have: Pack-in-play, bedding, high chair, swing, bouncy seat (though both of those have been taken off as I was given good hand me downs from my aunt).. Bottles, some toys, a seat protector for the car, mirror for the car seats (that goes on the head rest)..

Ooops, posted too soon.

Hummm... Diapers, wipes.. Burp rags.. Blankets.. Safety things..

I can't think of what else, but there's a lot of stuff.

You are not far behind at all! I have a name and some baby clothes because we couldn't resist- thats it! Me and baby will be sharing my room (which is large, but oddly shaped because it is the "upstairs".. its complicated) and I have yet to get started on 1) adjusting MY furniture, getting rid of the items that I won't be having in there, ect and 2) getting baby furniture. I kind of feel behind as well, because its going by so fast...

I think I'm going to register on the 21st, though. Hopefully that works out. I'm not very knowledgable about everything I'll need, either, but I'm just going to have to do the best I can, heh.

Don't worry, your not behind. We haven't bought a thing, picked out a name, cleaned out the room where the nursery will be. Are nowhere near close to thinking about registering. The only things we have are a few things a few clothes and toys that a friend gave us. You'll get it done.

We haven't got a thing for baby yet and still working on names. Luckily we have left overs from my son, though we need to pull all that out and get it ready but that can wait until next year, I'm in no rush.

No names, no place for baby, no baby gear here. Nothing! I think I'm still in denial that I am going backwards to the baby phase again! LOL

lol. I have a her name, and that's it. I am having a baby shower in California with DHs family at Christmas time. Then another when I get back with my family. We obviously will be buying all the big stuff. Car seat, Crib, Dresser... but other then that I am going to wait and see what I get.

I already have 2 girls, and not much left over baby wise. Since I didn't plan on another. So I am starting from scratch again.

Right there with ya especially since we just moved and I don't know the sex of the baby yet! I have some cloth diapers and a couple random things but otherwise that is it so far! We also haven't settled on names!

Oh don't worry, I wouldn't say you're behind. I think lots of moms get anxious and start the nesting process early, wanting to get everything ready way ahead of time. But there is still plenty of time, don't get stressed. Some moms wait to register until 20 weeks + anyway, after finding out gender(s). So do a little bit at a time from now until, and you'll be fine! Good luck!

All I have is some clothes, a bath thing and a toy, etc.... dh's mom has stuff clothes wise, sheets, bath stuff etc at the house.

The room where he will be in is still what it always was.

We aren't painting I think until the last 2 weeks of January... nursery will be set up and stuff will be purchased then.

I don't have anything for him yet at all.

We don't have a name, don't have a room set up and don't have very much stuff bought for her yet either. If you are looking for ideas on what you will need, check the sticky post on here that is filled with baby items.

It's all good. With my fourth, i bought NOTHING for her until, I was 38 weeks pregnant and thought "gee, I'm being induced tomorrow... we should run to safeway and get some diapers!" So dh did. 2 bags of diapers, a 2pk of suckies and a bottle of vitamin d drops.

Seriously. Now, I wouldn't recommend this, as it leaves much to buy in a very short time frame, but if you're not at that point, you're likely fine. lol

We are definitely behind over here. Not that we want to be, but financially things have been pretty difficult.

So far we've only bought 2 packs of onesie's (5 in one pack, 3 in the other) and a hat for baby. I haven't even got my anatomy ultrasound yet! So compared to a few of the ladies here, we're far in the pack.

We just found out we're having a boy, and I've only bought 1 gender neutral outfit so far. I started a registry, but it doesn't have a whole lot on it. We did just put in new carpet upstairs and had to clean out the baby room for that. Now that we know the gender, I really want to buy a few things!

Well me personally, i went a little crazy when i found out i was having a daughter...since i have 2 boys. So i got a lot of clothes. Hubby is also excited to whenever he goes to macy's or the mall he will pick up something cute. Last night it was socks from target. But he are most likely going to stop until we get closer to the actual date. I want to get large items now, but he wants to wait so that way our house isnt a storage area until she is born..

WHEW!!! Feeling better - although, Alyssa, you kinda freaked me out even more

I think this weekend, I will tell DH I want to work in getting the office cleaned up a bit more. I think that might be the area that is causing me the greatest stress. It's definately the most overwhelming project.

THANKS LADIES!!
