Long long day. Exhausted. Should be in bed, but I like torturing myself. Em did decent. My SIL drove up to LA to get the car seat that stays at my parents for us, which was nice. And we were able to check our bags 5.5 hours early, and then go out to lunch with her to kill more time. Which meant we got a little break from Em since Auntie did all the work with her We all survived.

thanks for all the thoughts ladies. we still don't know anything. the doc wants to run LOTS more tests- bloodwork, another MRI and a spinal tap in boston sometime in the next week and a half. then we go back to meet with her on March 1st to discuss what all the tests said. so, more waiting! frustrating and scary, but we're surviving. Charlotte did AWESOME at the hospital with us. My friend who lives in boston met us there and we all hung out together in the waiting room till DH and I went into meet with the doc and then Charlotte and Caitlin (my friend) hung out by themselves in the waiting room. Charlotte hadn't seen caitlin in a yr but she did great- no crying or misbehaving or anything (even with NO nap!) all in all, it was a long day with little new information, other than we have some of the best doctors in the world on the case (the doc teaches at harvard!) thanks again for all the support- I've really needed it!

Well, my energy is back. Home for 15 hours & already got a decent amount of house work done! It's nice to have my energy back. Hubs is off to run a few errands & then get the dog - Em is going to go INSANE when she sees him!!!

Blech, I'm starting to wonder if I have PPD or if it's still just baby blues. I cry at some point almost every day. I just got into a big argument with DH before he left for work and then sat here bawling for a while. I just wrote him an email to try to explain how I'm feeling and how his actions/words make me feel. I'm hoping it will be received with some understanding and not blown off.

::hugs:: Tasha! Don't be afraid to call up your Dr to get some help if you need to!!
DH and I have been married for 5 years today - Wowza!
Unfortunatly, he isn't able to get off early today to come to my appointment with me Kinda bummed, but a bit relieved as I won't be so rushed now getting him from work and driving back down this way to the hospital and trying to find where I need to be. Em and I can take off an hour early and take our time! We're both happy we at least got to see the baby on U/S last Thursday.
Hoping I can get Em to nap before our appointment!

oh tasha! sorry you are struggling! i think its totally normal to still be crying/emotional at this stage- you are going thru some HUGE changes (hormonally as well as now having 2 children!) but regardless, if you feel you need to talk to someone/get help/meds than you should do it! I am a FIRM believer in getting help/talking to someone. Remember- being emotional and needing help do NOT make you less of a strong woman! You are an incredibly strong woman, wonderful mother and AWESOME person! feel free to vent to us or tell us what's going on ANYTIME! that's what we're here for!

Hugs Tasha. Hope you see improvement soon. You are still pretty new at having two at home. Feel free to vent here or talk to a doctor if you think it might be more than just adjusting.
Welcome back home Allyssa. Hope Em falls right back into routine.
We are having a chilly weekend at home this weekend. It is supposed to be pretty cold all weekend. Tomorrow we are going out for a few quick things that we need. We are also upgrading to smartphones tomorrow I believe. A big jump for me as I have been fighting DH off for a really long time - probably at least 2 years as I didn't want the expense but they have a good special with Valentine's Day and it will be something we will both enjoy. Ahh I hate making such committments but I will not be upset with it I am sure.

Surprise surprise [not]. . . The ER Dr/lab were wrong. I am NOT RH-. I had a feeling that I wasn't, once I came down from the ER high. . . For 2 reasons - First: I could NOT at all remember being told I was RH- with Em, nor getting the shot. Neither did my mom, she was with me at my 1st appointment and delivery. Second: I swear my blood type was A+, but I wasn't 100% certain on that. I am so annoyed, but I am glad the Rhogam shot won't hurt baby when it wasn't needed!
Other then that - All was well with my appointment. I did get an U/S, but the printer wasn't working. So bummed. Baby was all curled up sound asleep, though <3 HB was 150. I am thinking it's a boy - My mom thinks another girl. I am hoping to find out the week of the 12th while they're in town, via a 3D place. I will get my anatomy scan in about 7 weeks. I go for another check on March 9th. Oh, in the ER baby was measuring about 3 days behind, but s/he has caught up! Even with being all curled up with his/her head tucked, it was measuring at 13w 1d - And I'm 13 weeks today. So perfect <3 Love my little nugget.
And man, what a difference 2 weeks makes in babies growth!

Allyssa, I'm glad that there was no harm to the baby with that unnecessary shot! I'd be so mad!
Thanks for the support ladies. I'm reading up on toddler tantrums (reading Happiest Toddler on the Block right now) and trying some different tactics with Zach that seem to be working for now at least. Yesterday my issue was with DH, we got into this huge fight that lasted several hours after he went to work and then things were still weird into the evening. We're okay now though. I have a PP follow up next Friday so that'll give me a week to see how I'm feeling and I'll definitely say something if things seem off still.

Hope you feel better soon Tasha. Happy belated anniversary Allyssa!
For us, someone needs to take my credit card away! After being so good about not buying a bunch of baby stuff for the first 7 mo. of pregnancy, I have been out of control lately! It's too hard to resist all the girly stuff!!!! Now that she's pretty close to arriving I am having no self control on spending. Yikes!

I've been trying to keep on posts here but sometimes don't get a chance to write anything. Allyssa, glad you are not Rh-, I wonder if they messed up charts at the ER? I hope they didn't tell some other girl she wasn't Rh- when she was!! Sounds like an episode of Grey's Anatomy or something. Tasha, hope the blues go away fast. I was so weepy after Kaedence was born, so I know how you feel. If you don't feel it goes away, let your doctor know.
Have a great day ladies! Boring old Monday here! We got about 3 inches of snow, so it's very pretty outside.

Thanks ladies
Michelle - I had to have DH take my CCs and put them in our safe because I was using them when I didn't need to. Horrible. But I gave them all up to him!
We went to the beach yesterday for the first time in a LONG time. Em loved it! I looked like a lobster by the time I went to bed last night, lol. Thankfully it didn't hurt and it's mostly tanned now. I ended up on the couch the rest of the day with horrible sinus pressure and a ton of grossness in my nose. I felt like crap. The house is such a mess. I took a benadryl last night and knocked out, I feel better today so I have a lot to get done!

Hey ladies sorry I went MIA on this thread again for a bit.
Been sorting stuff to finish up this class that ends this week, just have one 500 word paper left to write for it by Wednesday so will hopefully bust that out at work tomorrow Then a new class starts.
Going to make Gareth the french dip crescent rolls with home made au jus from pinterest as well as the cinnamon cream cheese roll ups for dessert (I am doing my family's recipe though not the one I pinned although they are similar) for Valentines Day tomorrow.
Any of you doing anything special? We aren't doing presents this year just cards and Gareth said he would give me a full body oil massage so that is good enough for me!!! Woohooo!

Massage sounds good to me Steph -- DH told me that all he wants is some extra bedroom activities! At least that's free!

So happy it is already Wednesday! Have just enough work to keep things from getting too boring today yet enough time to just chill online too, perfect type of work day! Oh and no bosses around either hahaha....not that it really matters as they are all pretty cool but everyone just seems more at ease

Steph - I'd say he was happy with his gift!
My brother got engaged on Valentine's day......his fiancee's first name is Suzanne. If you know what my maiden name is you should understand why I find this hilarious......

I've had so much more energy since getting home from CA - I've done some major cleaning this week, a little each day. Yesterday at nap time I cleaned the play & living room floors, and then I dumped her toys in the little buckets and went through them all. Weeding out stuff she doesn't play with much, crapy [small] toys to be tossed, ect. . . Got it all cleaned up, rearranged the play room and bit and re-vacuumed. Took a ton of crap out of the two rooms, too. Only downside is that we're running out of room to store all our stuff, but soon we'll get into a bigger house!

My plans are to get everything ready for Jace's birthday party (which is the following Saturday!) I have a tendency to take on too much for these types of things!
