It's hard to believe we are getting closer to 2nd birthdays for our LO's. Have you thought of a theme for their party this year?

I haven't thought of a theme for Lauren's party yet, thinking maybe Ladybugs since that's her nickname. We'll do something small with family at the house.

I've been wanting to do an Alice in Wonderland theme since I was pregnant lol. However, I think she will be too young for that theme but I'm worried that the theme will be stolen by my cousin since she is notorious for that!

So now I am debating b/t a Candyland theme or Backyardigans theme (since she is into them now).

I'm having a hard time trying to find a place for it bc, my apt is too small and the places here are so expensive?

Someone gave me a train cake pan so we're doing that! Jace doesn't have a lot of trains yet, but likes all things transportation. Lots of cute and easy decor on pinterest! Small family party this time so i'm trying to keep it simple.

I just started to think about this today. I'm not sure about the theme.
I could do something she likes- animals, Mickey, princesses (blech!)
Or find something I really want to do. Sin this might be the last year ICANN get away with doing it my way
Last year the theme was butterflies.

I don't know for sure what to do. Carter will be less than 6 weeks old for Zach's 2nd birthday. We're trying to get Greg's family out for it so they can meet the baby and still make a big deal about Zach, so we'll do SOMETHING. It'd be nice to have something with Zach's friends too but I don't know if I want that many people around so early, or if I want to plan a party that soon either.

char's birthday is exactly 3 weeks away, but we're going to dh's family the last weekend in Jan and that's when we'll celebrate. Char's cousin is 3 weeks younger than her and dh's sister turns 40, so we're doing a combined celebration. have no idea what the theme will be- fi we even have a theme. Guess I should touch base with SIL!

We are doing Elmo...just a bit of Elmo tossed into a turquoise and red polka dot theme. I just finished designing the cupcake toppers this morning and printed them out. Can't wait!!

I think we're going to do a Mickey Mouse theme. I haven't decided for sure yet though.

Last year I did a small gathering for my son with one of his favorite character at the time, Sid the science kid. I only invited close relatives since our place is small. The whole party was awesome but the cost was a little high and we had a lot of left overs.

My son only knows about 5 kids and I don't think is worth having a party yet. This year we are thinking of going away instead. When he turns 3, I will go all out since I LOVE decorating parties.

MissTextile- is your name Carol or Angeli? I thought I remembered you telling us it was Carol, but your blog says Angeli!

Is Sid the Science kid a cartoon? Where did you get the ideas for the party?

Hi!
Sid the Science Kid is a show on tv that my son absolutely loves. It's on channel 13(PBS) at 11am here in New York. The idea for the party came from my little noggin, I'm and artist and designer and I blog all my ideas.

Sorry about the confusion. My parents and friends called me "Carol" short for Carolina but for my business I go by Angeli since it's my first name and my husband does not like the name Carol so he also calls me Angeli.
