Brady was due August 24th. For the last few weeks of pregnancy I was completely miserable. My pain disorder had spiraled out of control and I overall just did not feel well. Then slowly my blood pressure began to spike, so my dr told me to keep on eye on it and if I had a headache or was dizzy I needed to call. Flash forward to August 14th....I woke up with a headache and blurred vision so I kept an eye on it. Took tylenol and layed back down. Nothing helped so we went to CVS to get my medicine and to take my BP. It was 157, Im always at 120 so I called and they had me come in. My urine and blood test came back normal but my BP was still 130 and above. So they wanted to keep me for 24 hours and do a 24 hour urine test. Meanwhile I was having alot of contractions but nothing too regular, but they hurt extremely bad. At about 9 my husband went to get us some dinner and the nurse came in and told me I was actually in active labor and they would be keeping me. It seemed like right after she said that my contractions moved to being 2-4 minutes apart with long cramping in between. I was left in triage for awhile and recieved pain meds because I was having such bad back labor I felt like I was going to black out. At 4am I was moved to a delivery room and recieved an epidural and pitocin. From there I was super comfy!! This is where it gets pretty fast. I was 3cm at 9am, Then my water broke. At 11am I was 7cm and at 12:15 I was 10cm and started pushing. He did get stuck and it took the doctor and a nurse to get his shoulders out. Luckily no broken collar bone! Brady was born at 1:01pm weighing 8lbs 15.4oz and 22inches long!!!! The doctor told me after she thought for sure I would be having a c-section, not pushing a big baby out in 46 minutes! Having him vaginally did take its toll I have ALOT of stitches and Im just now starting to be able to move easily. We are extremely happy and just in love! I honestly cant wait to have more babies!!!!!!!!
