This thread is so cool! I was diagnosed with endometriosis as a young teenager. I had periods so painful that I missed days of school every cycle. I bled, and bled. Right before I got married, I received the Depo shot, and my symptoms really improved. A few years later, we decided to TTC. My doctors thought there was no way I could get pregnant on my own. I had a vaginal ultrasound that confirmed the endometriosis. Well, we got pregnant on our first try! We should have our little guy any day now. Doctors are not always right, and miracles do happen.

I hope all of you ladies TTC will get your BFP soon, and have a healthy 9 months.

Thanks for sharing your story! Its inspiring! How bad was your endo? Its crazy it showed up on vag ultrasound. I had many of those but they all came back normal. The lap is what finally revealed the endo. My dr said that was normal because you usually couldn't see endo with an ultrasound. Congrats on your pregnancy!

Congratulations on your little one and thanks for sharing your story! I'm so happy you were able to conceive naturally!

Like Carla, my endo has never shown up on a vag u/s either. You were lucky it was diagnosed that way rather than through surgery.

What a great, positive story!

They never told me how bad it was, just that it was confirmed through the u/s. My mother also has it, and it took her 5 years and fertility treatments to have me. Hers was diagnosed through surgery.

I did have some complications early in the pregnancy, mostly pain and a lot of bleeding, but we made it past that. I don't know if it had to do with the endo or not.
