I am newly diagnosed to endo so still trying to figure out all the ins and outs of endo. Does anyone else suffer from irregular cycles/troubles with Oing?! I'm trying to figure out if its the endo causing it or *shudders at the thought* other issues. A little background....I was a very late bloomer. I didn't get my first period until I was like 13, maybe even 14. But once I did get my period they were few and far between. I would go months without periods. Back then I didn't think anything of it. I was very active (a dancer and on the drill team, so dancing was at least 4 hours a day, 6-7 days per week) and I never weighed over 98 lbs during that time. I wasn't having sex either so I wasn't worried about that! When I was 16 I got put on BC to regulate my periods and have been on it ever since, until this past March. While on BC I had perfect 28 day cycles (obviously) and could even pinpoint down to the hour when my period would arrive. Now on to March, I had surgery and discovered I had endo. DH and I were going to start trying after I finished nursing school, but the dr pretty much told us now or never. So we decided to start trying after my lap. Fast forward to current, I've have two periods since March. My first post op cycle was 33 days, AF was 1 1/2 days. 2nd cyle was 43 days, AF 2 1/2 days. Current cycle I'm on day 39 with no signs of AF and negative pg tests. I started charting last month, FF gave me CH's but my post O temps were erradic up until my dog ate my thermometer and I had to stop temping. This cycle my chart looks like crap and I'm not even convinced I O'd even though FF gave me CH's again. I get positive OPK's and CH's, but not convinced I'm Oing. I mean if I'm Oing that means I'd have 20+ day LP's, which isn't even really possible, right?! So all that to say, do you fellow endo sufferers also have problems with Oing? (sorry about the mini-novel!)

My cycles are actually very regular. Every 29 days except for the last. I was 3 days late and so sure I was pg. As for O'ing that's why I started fertility testing this month. If I am ( I always get dotted crosshairs on FF) it's around CD18-22 which isn't a long enough LP. I can't remember exactly but I THINK my first few cycles after surgery the first time were really wacky.

Yup, my cycles have always been irregular too. Sometimes I wouldn't have a period for over 2 months, then I'd get 2 back to back with a day's break in between.

Have you ever been checked out for anything like PCOS or hormonal issues, honey? Irregular cycles definitely come with the territory of endo so it's a good bet that's the cause x

Irregularity wasn't my issue. I was sooo super regular that is how I knew something was up when I was a day late I got my + with my son. Me O'ing has never been the issue. Me having a crappy uterus to implant has been my issue although at one point my dr thought maybe I was having issues with O'ing. That is why post depo and baby they are soo afraid to give me Clomid because they want my body to work out the depo and what not on its own since I do O they are afraid I will O more eggs than I need to be having implant if i get pg lol.

even one shot of depo can really screw with you, honey. Your body has been through a lot hormonally - pregnancy, depo and the pill. It's going to take just a little extra time to sort itself out x x

I did have all my hormones tested last cycle when I was late. They told me the tests came back normal.

When not on BCP or fertility meds my cycles have always been unpredictable ..... anywhere from 21-65+ days!!!! My hormone levels were also checked and are supposedly normal too.
