For those who are ttc with endo yet struggling. When was your last lap done?

I am very fearful I will never get pg again without having to have lap done again.

I had my surgery done Nov 26 2007. I got my first bfp Feb 23 2008. I fear that I will only be able to get pg right after lap surgery.

Since I got my bfp soo soon after surgery I am curious. Does the Endo grow back that quick? I had one evil depo shot Dec 2008 after my son was born then after that I went on Yaz for two months had an af May 2nd. Now I am on cd 64.

I never ever had long cycles before my son. They were always 26 day cycles. What do you all think? Someone IRL told me Endo grows back fast after you have a baby. True yes no? Sorry I am just going nuts here with no answers

I have heard all kinds of things from different sources on that matter, and the truth is I don't think anyone really knows for sure. Some ladies are practically cured by pregnancy while others find things get worse after.

My last lap was done in 2002. I was on BCP to stem the growth of the endo after that until we TTC our first. I have no idea how severe my endo is now or how fast it's grown back post pregnancy and I am terrified of having to have another lap (I don't have a good history with surgery)

My cycles certainly lengthened after being on BC and after having my first daughter so that could be to blame for your longer cycles. How long have you been TTC #2 so far hun?

Depo shot was only supposed to last until the beginning of March. We were told to try two months of Yaz. So May is when that was done. So technically since May but wanting to since March.

I can't believe how long my cycle is..I have no idea if Ive even O'ed and temping is just a constant reminder of how crappy my body is being. At this rate I dont know that I will ever get pg again

Don't give up hope!!! After even one shot of depo it can take several months to get pregnant. I think after a year of it, it can take up to 18 months to get pregnant so maybe it's just not out of your system yet after only one shot. My first lap was 2004 the second 2006. I'm probably going to have to get another one in the next few months. I'm not sure how fast the endo grows back. I'm sure it varies from person to person. Three months after my first lap I was in severe pain again but for some women it doesn't come back. Studies do show though that the first 6 months after a lap is the easiest time for us to get pg.

I kow I was totally shocked. My doctor although my second af after lap was done was the first time ever I hadn't felt pain while on af. He thought maybe my tubes were blocked and he had ordered a blood test to see if I had O'ed or not. Wam bam I was pg before I came in the next month to get my results lol.

I about died when I took that hpt and there was a +. I went straight to the Er and for being 3w5d I had a hcg count of 149. I still have that paper. I was soo proud of that number even though its not the first one that counts its them doubling lol

I would be proud of that number too. I'm a little nuts probably but I've been visualizing how I will act and tell DH and my parents when I finally get that BFP. It will be our first and my parents first grandchild since I'm an only. How did you tell your DH/SO?

lol He was out and about and I called him. I was with my two besties when I found out. One of them literally was soo shocked she didnt talk but she knew I had many m/c before so she said hospital and drove me out there lol.

I called him. He thought i was lying He came home to see the test.

This time if it ever happens I have a shirt for Carson ( I baught it big lol) that says Big Brother. If by some chance it takes us another lap and five million more years to get pg I will write it on a plain tshirt or just buy another one lol.

Honestly at this point with being as discouraged as I am. I fear I won't be able to give my dh another miracle though

My lap was in March 2009. No BFP yet, but I'm only on my 3rd cycle since surgery. My best friend was on the depo shot and it took her a year after the shot for her to get pregnant. I've heard that it takes a long time for the depo shot to get out of your system so it may not be out just yet.

We tried for a while and when I didn't get a positive PG test my OB suggested a lap and it worked and worked FAST! Good luck.
