....is to lose weight!!!
My sister (who happens to be 4 months pregnant right now) usually takes 1-2 years to conceive. Well, she recently lost 15lbs and got pregnant on her first cycle of trying!! Lots of people and of course doctors suggest losing weight to help conceive. So DH and I have been on a diet recently- not a drastic diet- we've cut our portions sizes WAY down and have added LOTS more fruits and vegies...oh and carbs every other day. Well-- we've been doing this almost one week and both DH and I have lost 6lbs EACH!!! We just stepped on the scale and saw this moments ago and wanted to share that with you all!
We are hoping that with a healthier diet and some extra pounds lost- it will help us concieve! We're approaching our 11th cycle of TTC and due to Christmas and New years, we're taking a break on everything 'non natural' this month- meaning no Clomid, no IUI, no OPKS, no Temping....just plain ol' BDing...although I have calculated that I will be ovulation sometime between Christmas Eve and 2-3 days after that SO-- ill keep ya posted on my "under-construction" body!!!

Good for you!!!!! I've read a lot that it's supposed to help. Congrats on the 6lbs and I hope you get where you want/need to be soon.

I think yalls plan is awesome. Losing weight does help conceive. It can't hurt that's for sure!!!! Congratulations on the weight lose. I certainly need to lose a good 15 pounds that just won't come off. Good luck with this cycle too. I hope we both get preggo over Christmas!!!
