Ok I'll type out the whole re-cap now! sorry if it's rambeling, I'm on painkillers!

We dropped Caiden off at the CDC at 8:00 this morning (it's the base daycare) and he had breakfast there, and didn't blink twice even when we said by. He thought it was a cool new preschool, they did have some neat stuff in there! I guess they did a lot, and went outside to play even!

I went home, we waited for a bit and packed my little bag with things like my iPod, phone, book, etc.

About 10:00 we left and got to the hospital to check in, no problems there. Did the Valet parking like always, wandered in, and we were set to go. About 10:30am we were escorted to our pre-op room. They took my stats and my resting pulse was 127! :S Eeeeesh! and my BP was a little off too. So they did 2 bags of saline prior because I was so dehydrated between the bowel prep (clear liquids only since Sunday evening), and the non eating/drinking past midnight thing. Took them THREE tries to get an IV: Once in my right hand, right wrist, and finally a new nurse got it in my left hand. They are so bruised up now!

Met with nurses, Anesthesiologist, and a few others. Sat around and talked. Loved my warm blankets they brought me.....

The anesthesiologist came back, did some more info, and had a huge baggy of drugs. The IV sedatives! She talked about how they were the same ones Micheal Jackson OD'd on. :S Eeesh! Anyways, got them all measured out when they realized.... my Doctors hadn't been by yet! Kind of important!

So they came by finally about 12:15, and talked. I asked about taking a bath, carrying Cadien, etc and was told to wait until my Post Op appointment on Jan 19th for that.

After that, they did a valium in my IV, I said bye to Eric, and off down the hall we go. They told me this would be the last thing I rememberd, and they were WRONG!

I remember being in the OR, commenting on it being bigger than the one Caiden had gone to, but smaller than the one on ER (lol!), commenting on all the people, and how I was annoyed my mask wouldn't stay on so I had to keep adjusting it. I also remember something about them putting a boot on, and then strapping down my arms, and my legs. Then I was out.

I was out of Surgery about 1.5 hours later.

I was really terrified about how I would wake up. Eric wasn't allowed to be in the room with me, so I was afraid I wouldn't know where I was. Turns out, when I woke up, I just asked a ton of questions about they gave me a catheter (I could feel), how it went, and asking for pain meds.

They had already given me a LOT of nausea meds before I woke up, including a sea-sick patch for behund my ear to curve some nausea after. It's still on, and will be for 2 more days.

After the Demerol, Fentynal, and some Vicoden, I went back to sleep.

Sometime close to 4 Eric came up into my room. He got me a balloon. I thought it was really sweet of him, actually. He said I wasn't entirely awake then either.

They had warned me that my throat may be sore from the breathing tube, but it is beyond sore, and I have no voice. It's been a pain!

After a but longer in the PACU, I got to go home about 4:30/4:45ish. Eric went and got the car from the Valet, and I was escorted down in a wheelchair to go home. My Velour track pants and a big baggy t shirt were a good call. One of my incisions was in my belly button, the other right on my waist line. I'll post some pics once I can remove the bandages.

Eric was SO careful driving home, because every bump hurt, and so did my seatbelt. :S

Got home, and had him help me upstaires. I haven't been down since.

My Moms of Preschools group through the church is bringing me meals this week, so when I got home I had soem soup, french bread, and a few little treats. so good! but I didn't keep it down. And I had a very hard time swallowing with my throat so swollen.

Eric got Caiden from Daycare, and then he went and got me a panda express feast. I LOVE panda-y goodness! I had the orange chicken, and lo mein noodles, and some of the cream cheese rangoons. I have a few small bites of everything, and now it's sitting in the fridge waiting for next time.

So, What did they say about the surgery? They found a decent sized cyst, but due to WHERE it was, which was on my tube or touching it, they were afraid removing it would damage the tube! Also, they found a mature follie! On CD23!!! ***?! Some very light endo spots, and we will discuss it more when I see my RE next. I have a ton of images of inside too, I should post sometime. It's pretty cool!

My neighbor brought me a care package: Diet coke, People Magazine, another Magazine, and Reeses pieces, OH and a big sampler of Tazo Teas.... all in a cute tin! It was so nice!

I feel like I was hit by a bus. Oddly enoguh, my shoulder doesn't hurt yet from the gas they used to inflate me, but my stomach is so puffed out and bloated looking. IT is also black and blue from them probing all under it, which makes my organs hurt too! One of my insicions doesn't hurt at all, but the on in my belly button does.

So, thats my day, just been dozing in and out, and watching movies in the bedroom on the new blu ray player (so Eric can hog the ps3 with his call of duty!). I'm sore, Tired, and my percocet is kicking in so I am going to go to bed. I have another member of MOPS bringing me dinner tomorrow (someone will be every night until Satuday, so sweet!)

Oh, and let me just say, I am so thankful for my husband! He's helped me sit/stand up so I don't have to use my abs, refilled my drink, gotten me food, and managed Caiden all evening. I have no idea how messy the house is, but I'll find out eventually I suppose. It was totally spotless today! anyways, I have a very sweet husband, and I love him so much for taking care of me..

Oh man, I am way more sore today. :S I took off my bandaids (before I read to leave them for 48 hours before I shower... oops) and it looks so weird!

I accidentally rolled onto my stomach last night, and screamed! It hurt so badly. After that I surrounded myself in pillows so I wouldn't make the same mistake again.

I am WAY more sore and bruised today, but take it as a good thing that it's healing. My belly button itches. It's weird!

My friend is bringing over dinner tonight, another friend brought me a basket with magazines, reeses pieces, diet coke, and Tazo Teas in it. It was so nice of her. People are being so nice and it's making me so sappy! Someone else had brought us dinner last night, too. Then tonight I have my neighbor coming over to watch a movie while we vedge

I'm so glad it went well. I had to laugh about the mature follie It's wonderful that you have so many people helping you and that DH is being such a huge help.

BTW when things heal they itch. Since the belly button is so small maybe it's healing already

OH Funny story time: I have one of those ani-nausea patches on behind my ear that they gave me, and I touched it, and accidently touched my eye, and now my left eye is way dilated, and my right isn't! It's weird looking! It was totally an accident, and we knew it could happen, so we just laughed at it!
