You'd think after two of these I would be a pro but I've still got a couple of questions. Did your doctor say anything about BDing the day before the surgery? My doc likes for you to wait 30 days before BD so we (I ) wanted to before but wasn't sure if it would mess anything up. Also, did your doc make you do a bowel prep?

Dr. didn't say anything about BD, because I wasn't TTC when I had my lap. Paperwork said two weeks, but I was NOT feeling up to it until long after that - endo was pretty severe. As for bowel prep, didn't have to anything along those lines.

oh yes I had to do the awesome bowel prep. Clear Liguids the whole day before, and then this awesome soda-type liquid laxative that afternoon, and then at midnight nothing at all before my surgery the following afternoon. It was fun :S

I was told not to BD 3 days before I think, and not for 30 days afterwards (which, we failed at listening to, but I lived, haha!)

Any questions feel free to ask!

I'd seen a lot of ladies on here having to do the bowel prep but I never did and don't have to this time. I guess I'll be on the safe side and no BD I got to thinking about it last night. AF should show somewhere around the 19th-25th (depending on if I ovulated or not), which means my 30 days will be over right around the time we need to start BDing for that cycle (unless the doc says wait a cycle)

my doc didnt do a bowel prep (and i had endo on my bowel) and he said we can BD when we feel up to it. for me it was 10 days later...i lived to tell the tale but i was sore and we missed ovulation anyways (though it did make me feel goooood lol). i would suggest doing it in the spoon position (so DH doesnt jam you in any way and you can move out the way if he tried )
