How long did you guys stay out of work after your lap? If you didn't work how long do you think you would've needed to stay out? I don't want to overdo it but at the same time I don't want to stay out any longer than I have to ya know. Initially my plans were to try and do half a day tomorrow but there's just no way. I don't even know if I'll make it Thursday. My desk is upstairs and even the one little step down off our front porch is too much right now.

Hey!!
My last lap I had was on a Wednesday. I was working as a nurse then so I knew I wouldn't be up to working right away. I waited until the following Monday to return, and I still did minimal things. No lifting of course-- It seemed like I was back to FULLY normal in about 2 weeks. So all in all- I took 5 days off but still took it easy for a good week after that.

I think I've decided to stay out tomorrow and Thursday and attempt a half day on Friday. I've gotta call the doc tomorrow anyway. They told me yesterday that after 24 hours I could take off the band-aids and shower. I showered and then went to take off one of the band-aids and the steri-strip started coming off to. They told me to leave those on and they should fall off on their own in 2 to 3 weeks. I think 24 hours was a little too soon. I stuck the band-aid back on and I hope it doesn't fall off in my sleep. Not sure how I'll get to the doc tomorrow for them to do whatever they need but.....

It took 5 days for me to be up, making dinner, and functioning as a human.
