I'm going to first birthday in a few weeks. What do you buy for a little boy who's turning one? The last time I bought a little one a birthday gift she was scared of it

Well, my nephew just turned one last week and I bought him lots of 'play' things. The type of toys that will help him learn along the way. I bought a thing that has like 5 different plastic rings ( about the size of your hand), each a different color, and they stack up to form a pyramid. I also bought him wood blocks. He has fun 'throwing' them and just holding them in his hands. Someone else bought him a bouncy ball --He loves that thing, he pushes it as he crawls. Anything that makes noise or lights up seemed to be a hit- like those plastic keys that makes music when you wiggle them. He also got lots of clothes for the up coming summer. So, if all else fails, anything that lights up or makes noises usually does the trick!! Good luck! Let us know what you end up getting Hope this helps
