I finally had my first breakdown in 13 months of TTC. AF is due to start sometime soon, who knows exactly when with my PCOS and surgery throwing things off. I'm sick, apparently I picked up some kind of bug while I was in the hospital. In other words seriously hormonal and feeling like poop. I logged on Facebook (which I think I should give up on) and saw not one but TWO pregnancy announcements. The first one was a girl I was friends with in high school. She just had a little boy at most 8 months ago. The post was saying it's a boy so she's what at the least 15 weeks along? (i have no idea when you can tell what it is) So she got pregnant at most 5 months after she gave birth, probably more like 3. My poor DH didn't know what to think when I'm sitting all happy on the computer and then burst in to tears and start saying life's not fair and life sucks I've dealt with it and been strong up until now and I honestly am not sure how much more I can take. I'll be 28 in a week and a half and I'm not sure how much longer I can keep trying. With age and endo and PCOS my chances are diminishing everyday. I'm more sure than ever that I want to start the adoption process by December at the latest.

Sorry for the venting.

Awww, Paige, it WILL be your time. Whether naturally or even adoption, you'll have your chance to be a mom, and you are going to be the BEST mommy. Don't give up just yet. -hugs-

I'm sorry
I had a similar experience yesterday, resulting in my decision to quit facebook as well.

FB indeed sucks!!!!

Dont give up paige, i am 34, have a uterine deformity (which lowers my chances of catching an egg by half) and probably having hormonal / progesterone issues. i had endo and a huge fibroid. i am still going ahead with treatment (though i have yet to do an IUI lol am so scared ha ha).......

How old r u? r u with a specialist?

I'll be 28 next week. My OBGYN already told me that he's going to send me to a RE. I see him again on the 9th. I'm hoping all it takes is me being cleaned up after the lap, Metformin for PCOS, and the Clomid.
