When are you starting your EMT class? I'm thinking about taking one this summer if the slots aren't all filled yet. I'm at a fork in the road, do I put everything on hold in case I get pregnant or do I do it and if I get pregnant figure out how to do both. I think I remember that you've done some EMT courses before. Was it a lot to remember, was it hard?

Hey!! I was going to message you about this too. I saw that you posted about this on your blog.
I took the EMT class like 3 years ago but wasn't ready to BE ONE so I let my license lapse. I actually am gearing up to take it again this summer as well. I was in the whole fork thing myself thinking "Do I wait to start school till after the baby"....but then I though...."K. I've been TTC like almost a year and a half- whose to say it wont take another year and a half....the i would have wasted all the time when I could have gone to school" ANYWAYS-- So thats when I decided to go back to school.
It is alot to take in but not as hard as you would think. The hardest thing for me was to remember how to do the emergency assessments in the correct order (especially for the National Test) There is alot to remember and you HAVE to do the steps in order.
Overall- it was a medium level class. I have lots of medical background so alot of it I knew already...and the other half was stuff I've never even heard of!!
Let me know if you sign up....I haven't signed up for mine yet. It would be so awesome if you and I were taking it at the same time......we could be on-line study buddies
