Does anyone on here have endo, but have symptoms only from ovulation until menstruation and NOT actually during AF?

I feel like I'm a patient on mystery diagnosis or something. I've never been through anything like this. I just wish I knew what was going on with me.
The specialist I saw does not think I have endometriosis b/c my actual periods are not painful ( or I just have a few minor cramps), just the 2WW. She says endo implants bleed at the same time as the uterine lining, which is what causes the pain, so she thinks I would also be having pain during my periods if I had endo.
I suppose that makes sense, but then WHAT is causing this sciatic pain for 10 days out of my cycle? And why am I not getting pregnant?
I don't even know where to go from here. I saw a doctor at a University Health Center who supposedly specializes in endometriosis. Where am I supposed to go from here? We live in no man's land, I already had to drive over an hour to see that specialist. I really don't know what else to do.

I do NOT have pain during my periods...but I have SEVERE pain during ovulation and the whole week after. My periods seems to be a relief for my body cause all my pains go away. Also my periods last only 1-2 days and are super light and so I always thought there was no way I had endo because my pain wasn't "text book" but after 2 laps, I definitely have Endo.

It's different with everybody. I don't think that endo can ever really be "text book". I have some months where I have no pain, even with AF and then I have months where I'm in pain the entire time.

Yeah, see? This is why I'm frustrated. The doctor just gave me a spiel about whole most of the time, women who have endo and are infertile, they are the ones who have had severe pain since their very first period, blah, blah, blah.
I know I'm not a "textbook" case at all. But I've found a lot of info that points to my symptoms being endo related. I guess I'll have to look for a new doctor...I just don't know what to do.

ALWAYS get a second opinion!!! I got about 3 opinions cause I was in denial about having endometriosis due to not having the 'text book' symptoms. But like I said, after 3 doctors and 2 laporoscopies (each performed by different doctors) I was STILL diagnosed with Endo. So PLEASE.....get a second opinion....just in case. Protect your body first-- when it comes to diagnosing, never just go with what the first doctor says.

agreed. Get a 2nd opinoin for sure. The only reason I knew I had Endo was because from the very beginning my periods were VERY painful. Plus my mom ended up with a hysterectomny at 24 due to the Endo. (which is a good thing she had us young)

as far as the infertiilty I do struggle with that. I doubt I will be able to have any more children. My son is here I am thankful for him but he came very quickly after my lap surgery to remove the endo that was everywhere.

It took me like 5 doctors in my lifetime to finally get someone to take me seriously and do lap surgery.

Could you do another lap to try to remove any more endo?

Surgery scares me too, b/c I've never had one other than getting my wisdom teeth extracted...I've always been really healthy.
I'm really starting to think I'm ready just to get the lap done for my own peace of mind. Not knowing what is going on in there and experiencing these weird symptoms every month has me so worried I can't sleep at night sometimes...
