I went to the bathroom about 9:30 this AM and when I wiped there was a tiny bit of blood so I went ahead and put a tampon in. I went to change it around 1 thinking it was past time because my first day is usually really heavy. There wasn't even enough to have filled a lite tampon. Once I got home from work and errands around 6:30 I went to change it again and still not much. The two together wouldn't have filled a lite tampon. Not that I examine them or anything but it was red blood but seemed to be more CM than blood. Does that make sense? I've had cramps off and on, some pretty strong ones, but nothing like the past two months. I haven't even had to take anything. How heavy does IB get? I was always under the impression it was like two or three drops of blood and that was it. My two cycles since the lap have been super heavy and super painful, backache, legs hurt, boobs hurt. I've got nothing right now. And I NEVER spot first. It's always "ouch I think I'm going to die" run to the bathroom and there's heavy bleeding. I don't want to get my hopes up but part of me keeps saying what if? If I consider this CD1 then I need to start Clomid Monday but what if it is IB. How long after IB would a test be positive? I guess I'll know more in the am.

What do you ladies think. sorry for the novel by the way.

UPDATE

So on top of Thursdays super light flow yesterday wasn't much more. It stayed light red/pinkish. I couldn't have gotten by with a liner but I could have left a normal tampon in all day (if it weren't ciky to me) and had no problems. Today I put one in when I got up at 7:30 (didn't wear one last night and had no bleeding) and took it out at about 5 when we got home and I could have gotten by with only a liner. I haven't had one in since then and nothing. WTH is going on with my body? I don't know if I can even consider this a period and start taking my Clomid. I'm going to test again Monday morning and I'm considering calling the doc Monday morning to see if I can get a beta. I want to know 100% before I start that Clomid.

I'd wait for tomorrow and see what's happening and take a test if AF isn't in full force. I've heard that IB can be *pretty* heavy. I hope this is a good sign for you!

It was just a cruel joke I woke up about 2 am with cramps bad enough to get out of bed and grab my pain medicine out of my purse and my heating pad. I was able to fall back to sleep pretty easily so they weren't that bad but the flow has picked up some. It's still not nearly as much as it normally is, but the Ponstel I'm taking for pain has the added benefit of decreasing the flow. It's ok though. I'm looking forward to the Clomid side effects next week. If it means a bean, or two, BRING IT ON!!!
