Crys, from my Jan 11 DDC suggested I check this group out even though I am not TTC. I am currently 5-6 weeks pregnant with endometriosis. I have had a lot of pain with this pregnancy already...strange unexplained pain.

I had my first ultrasound yesterday at what I thought was 5 weeks 6 days but the baby only measured 5 weeks 1 day (which would have put my not terribly faint BFP at 7dpo). She also noticed free fluid in the posterior culdesac behind the uterus.

I have read both of these things (dating behind behind and free fluid) can be related to endometriosis. This is my 9th pregnancy (I have lost 4 pregnancies) and it is really the first with so much pain this far into it.

Hi Kelly!

I am not a frequent poster in here but I lurk every once in a while, and wanted to respond to your post.

I am almost 20 weeks pregnant with my second and have had stage 4 endometriosis for years. I'm 21 now, had surgery @ 16 and @18.

I have had a lot of unexplained pain as well. I think that is fairly common in women with endometriosis during pregnancy. Also, the ultrasound technician at my doctor's office said the machines can be off by +6 or -6 days in early pregnancy, so a 5 day difference is pretty normal. Mine was off by 11 days!

I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy. Sorry about the endo pain, but it gets better!
