Hi everyone, I'm a regular on the TTC with MA board. My RE recently told me I have stage 3 Endo via U/S no LAP yet. I have had 3 U/S in the last week and every U/S he says yep that is Endo and measures it and it's around 24mm.
Ladies on the TTC with MA board say that is NOT an accurate diagnoses. I agree.

I'm having an egg retrieval tomorrow. If RE thinks my Endo is to sever we will not transfer, do LAP then do FET in May/June.

I have heard a lot of different things about a LAP. I'm nervous and scared.

Hi and welcome! I was diagnosed with endo last month after I had a lap done to remove a cyst. I have stage four endo and my doctor said that he did not see it on the ultrasound. He only saw it once he was in there. Everything went well with my lap. The doctor removed the cyst and cauterized as much endo as he could. I had to have some help getting in and out of bed for the first 24 to 48 hours afterward. I was fine after a few days. I hope that you get some answers soon! Let us know if you have anymore questions!

Thank you. That's great news. I hope the FET works the first time.

I've had 4 lap's so they can't be that bad Technically I could have gone back to work sooner than I did but I took off 4 days - including the day of surgery - for one of them. Two of them I was doing manual labor at a family business and I had to stay out several weeks. This last one I was out of work for 7 days but I had an ovary removed. The pain isn't that bad. You will need help getting in and out of bed or off the couch for a few days. The worst is the gas pain in your shoulder.
