I know it is a week until Thanksgiving but when do you decorate for Christmas?

I love all the decorations up at the stores an all the Christmas music. I secretly listen to Christmas music in October when DH is not home. He doesn't like anything Christmas up until the day after Thanksgiving. This year though because I am working and our Thanksgiving plans are different this year we decorated inside the house and put up our tree yesterday. We are decorating the outside of the house the day after Thanksgiving.

Since my youngest is a Dec baby I always wait till the weekend after his bday to start. I don't want him to feel overshadowed by the holiday.

K.A.T that makes sense. My dad's birthday is two days before Christmas.

Kerian How long is Kyla going with them?

I think this year I'll decorate the first weekend in December, but I have time off for Thanksgiving, so I may do it earlier. I can't wait to put in the Christmas music and transform the house

so long!! she leaves the 15th, then she will stay with them till we get there the 24th. yes 9 whole long days.
but it is school holidays and i have to work, so i would rather she gets to spend time with my parents who she adores and misses so much then sit at home with someone just watching her.

it will be hard but she will love it.

Aw! I am sure she will have fun. Will that be the longest she has been away from you?
