What is your biggest pet peeve as it relates to TTC with endo? Mine is doctors trying to tell me I need to get pregnant in order to "cure" my endo. First of all, I don't think a baby should ever be a cure for a disease. Second, it's not really a cure, it just keeps it from causing symptoms for a while. Third, if you know endo can cause fertility issues, why would you think I can just get pregnant at the drop of a hat? Grr... so annoying.

Lucy I am right there with you!!! I think it just adds more pressure. Endo hurts our chances of getting pregnant and every time I have af I wonder if my endo is growing back or getting worse! Don't they know that they are not helping?!

I had switched doctors too, and this one hasn't said anything and has been very encouraging. I got annoyed over it again last night, though, when some lady I barely know came up to me and pretty much said the same thing to me. I guess one thing I've learned while TTC is how insensitive people can be without meaning to. I'm more annoyed with doctors that push this mindset on the public, though.

Kerian, whenever they put me on the birth control pill all my endo symptoms got worse. I was on 5 and they all made it worse somehow. If birth control pills trick your body into thinking you're pregnant, then I think I'm in for a rough pregnancy :/ It'll be worth it, though. When I went to a specialist, he told me that about 20% of ladies with endo get worse instead of better on the pill or pregnancy. Unfortunately, it sounds like we're both part of the 20%

I can't imagine how difficult it must be dealing with infertility month after month, year after year. I hope that you get your miracle baby soon or you're able to find a doctor that can help you.
