Do you have any fears about your endo or because you have endo?

I used to worry that I wouldn't be able to have more children. Now, I worry that it will hold me back from carrying to term.

My #1 fear is that I won't be able to get pregnant, but my doctor INSISTS that nothing about my endo should prevent me from getting pregnant, I'll just be a little slowed down because one of my ovaries has had so many surgeries. But since I'm not pregnant yet, I don't completely believe my doctor yet.

My #2 fear is that my future daughters will get it and they still won't have any decent treatment options.

PS Cait- I love the new siggy

Thanks Lucy!

I am also terrified that endo will keep me from getting pregnant! But my ob tells me that I WILL get pregnant and will have as many babies as I want to have.

Liz I didn't know that having endo could keep you from carrying to term.

I honestly, don't think it can, but I'm a paranoid nut like that and afraid that the endo could cause another miscarriage.

I'm afraid that it will cause me to lose my uterus (or worse, having bladder or bowel issues, etc), and then I will spend the rest of my life wondering "what if...would I have eventually been able to get pregnant?" I have had two Lap surgeries b/c of my endo and my Gyn prepared me for the possibility last time, but luckily it wasn't necessary. Who knows what the future holds, though.
