I have endometriosis. I go for the pelvic laparoscopy in January. So I have a month to drive myself crazy. How have you all dealt with it. and how many of you have went on to have a successful pregnancy?

I'm sorry Your doctor is doing the right thing by doing a lap, and lots of ladies are able to conceive with endo soon after a lap. It only took me a few days to recover after both of mine, and you'll be surprised how much better you'll feel! I didn't realize how crumby I felt until I didn't feel crumby anymore. Endometriosis is not an infertility sentence, and many women with endo end up having as many children as they want.

DH and I have been TTC#1 since July. My tubes are all clear, but since I've had multiple surgeries on my left ovary, it's not working quite up to par, so we knew it may take me extra time to conceive.

I am sorry about the endo! I agree with Lucy. The lap is the way to go! It only took me a couple days to recover after my lap. I went to do also do the Lupron shot afterwards. This is our second cycle post shot. Endo runs in my mother's side of the family. And my mom had three children and my grandmother had two.

It is shot to kill off the endo that the doctor could not get with the lap.
