Stuck in a bad place

I am stuck in a bad place and cannot get out of it. I so thought that last cycle was THE cycle! And it wasn't. Then my SIL announces that she is pregnant. Every time I think I can deal with it I wind up bursting into tears. I feel like all I have done this year is cry! I know that since the lap and lupron shot that this is only our third cycle and that it took nine months to get pregnant when I miscarried. It is just hard mentally to know that it has been almost two years since we started trying. I have a whole bunch of projects I want to start. So I plan on staying busy. I am trying to be optimistic and to give this cycle everything I have!

(((hugs)))) Cait! it is very understandable how you feel hon. i have been there and it is very hard.

is your DH supportive? does he understand how you feel?

I'm sorry you're in a bad place. I got there several times over the 4 years we were trying. For me the best thing I ever did was take a break (a couple of times). I didn't want to because of my age and the endo but I knew if I didn't I would go crazy. I didn't use OPK's, I didn't test, I didn't even take a prenatal. We had sex when we wanted. It was always in the back of my mind but just the 2 or 3 cycles I took off helped me relax a lot. I don't know if that's something you've done or would be willing to do.

Also, don't get too discouraged. Like you said you're only a few months out from both the lap and Lupron. It might take a little time for that Lupron to get out of your system. I've got loads of baby dust I don't need anymore and I'm sending it your way!

Thanks ladies for the support! DH is very very very supportive. He was/s mad that his sister announced that she is pregnant. His sister and I are very close and I have been able to tell her how I feel. I am doing much better today! I have not cried at all today!!! I have considered taking a break but I do not know if that would just stress me out more. I am going to wait and see.

Cait, i think it is very important that your DH is so supportive. it makes a huge difference.
i took a break after my 2nd IUI. it was a disaster cycle and broke my heart.
