My MIL and I talk about it. It took her five years to have her first. She and I are very close!

We've been trying for almost two years and for the most part no one but my closest friend and cousin knew. Then sometime over the summer my mom kept pestering me about when she was going to get grandkids and i finally let her know we were having troubles. I was kind of a jerk about it because no one in my family has struggled to have kids so they have no idea what it's like. Now most of our family know we're having trouble, but no one says anything to me about it unless I bring it up.

Not really, I've casually mentioned to some that we're trying, but I change the subject when it comes up. My mom had a lot of fertility issues, so she can kind of relate, but she always gives the "it'll happen when it'll happen" advice, which I don't want to hear.

i was pretty open with my family and friends. and my parents were a great support to me.

I hate the whole it will happen when it happens!!!
