What ttc advice have people given you? What do you hate hearing?

OMW, my worst ever, that drove me to almost knock the person out was-
"you know i once knew someone who struggled and struggled for years, and the 2nd they stopped trying, she fell pregnant" - so basically i just stop trying and i make a baby, great.

Oh I hate that one!

I get "relax" a lot. Or, "you're so young, you have time".

Or my very favorite (from a girl that got pregnant on her first try) "Just have sex a lot, that's what we did". Really? You have to have sex to get pregnant? Oh snap! We've been doing it wrong the whole time!

"Just let it happen" and "You're trying too hard" are probably the worst ones I've heard. My last endo doc told me that having a good attitude may not get me pregnant sooner, but it'll make the wait a lot more bearable. That was probably the best advice (aside from learning to chart and stuff). Now if only I could follow it...

I have heard a lot.

"You are young so it will happen."
"Maybe if you just forget about it then you will get pregnant." How am I supposed to forget that i want to have a baby?
"It will happen when it is meant to happen." HATE HATE HATE this one!!!
"Maybe you aren't doing it correctly." WHAT? How can I do it incorrectly?!?!?!?!
