I've been diagnosed with PCOS since I was 18, only diagnosed with Endo last year (at 23). My DH and I have been TTC ever since I got my diagnosis as my doctor felt it was a now or never type deal. Apparently the Endo was really bad, she said if we already had kids she would have recommended a hysterectomy. I guess I've really had it for years but we attributed my symptoms to PCOS. We've been ready emotionally for a while but were going to wait till my DH graduated as that's the "responsible thing to do". I had really bad baby fever so I was actually kind of glad she suggested we go ahead and start trying lol.
Since my last AF I've been dealing with abdominal pain on the left side so I'm scared either the Endo is flaring up or I have a cyst. I also haven't O'd despite being on Clomid. I have a doctor appointment tomorrow so I guess I'll see what she thinks about it.
I'm a total nerd who loves to read and play video games. I don't really enjoy girly things like shopping or mani/pedis or make-up so if I do get pregnant I'm hoping it's a boy. If that doesn't work out we are totally up for adoption.
Good news (maybe)! My doctor thinks the pain is just because I haven't ovulated this cycle and my body is trying to let me know or something like that. I guess it got used to ovulating from the Clomid so not ovulating sent some kind of signals to my brain that something was wrong? There aren't any cysts big enough to need attention. At this point she doesn't think it's the Endo either.
She upped my Clomid as she said even when I did ovulate it was later in the cycle than she wants. If I don't get AF by Monday I'm supposed to start taking Provera. Then if I don't ovulate by CD12 I'm supposed to call back so she can up the Clomid again. If the pain doesn't go away after I ovulate then we can start looking into other causes. I'm really hoping this is all it is!
