When you first started ttc, how long did you expect it to take you to get pregnant?

I expected it to take 6-9 months. I actually didn't think I would be on the Clomid longer than that because my doctor won't let you take the same dose more than 5 cycles in a row. The first two months I didn't use MA so that accounts for having to go up in dose twice and then the 5 times. I never thought I'd go higher than 150mg for some reason. Nor did I account for any long 60 day cycles. We will hit our one year mark at the end of October.

Hitting the one year mark is hard Tasha.

I thought it would happen in less than six months. Our three year mark is in February.

With all the media surrounding "IT IS SO EASY TO GET PREGNANT NEVER HAVE SEX IF YOU DO USE CONDOMS AND THE PILL AND SPERMICIDES BECAUSE PREGNANCY EVERYWHERE SO EASY" I didn't exact long at all, maybe a few months, tops.

So that didn't work out.

Yeah back when my DH and I were first sexually active I was on the pill and we used the condoms with spermicide. We were both a little paranoid I would end up pregnant. Looking back now I think we were being silly. Eventually I went off birth control and we stopped using condoms so technically we've been NTNP on and off for like 2 1/2 years.
