Hello All- I recently had my second lap (first one was 8 years ago..way before i was thinking about ttc) and my endometriosis was pretty extensive again..even on my bladder. I also had a couple cysts from previously taking chlomid and one of my fallopian tubes was kinked from the previous laparoscopy. No wonder I wasn't getting pregnant! Everything is all fixed now and I go back to the doctor for my post op visit in 6 days. I'm very afraid that he is going to want to put me on Lupron for three months which will put me into menopause basically. I REALLY don't want to do that and am going to try hard to convince him not to do it.
Does anyone have success stories with conceiving after laparoscopy?
I had my lap in Feb of 2011 a few months after our miscarriage. My endo was very extensive. I then went on six months of the Lupron Depot. We started trying again that October (2011). We had a chemical pg in Feb 2012. We also tried Clomid and the I had an hsg done in Sept 2012. We had a failed iui in October 2012 and found out that DH has low sperm count. We took two months break and during that previous six months my cramps were getting worse and obviously were not getting pg. So New Years Eve 2012 I started Lupron Depot again. I go this month to get my last shot. The first time I was on the Lupron I had a lot of mood swings and hot flashes but it was nothing I couldn't handle. This second time I do have some mood swings but they are not as bad. My anxiety is bad but that could be due to some different situations in my life. I do have cramping and spotting here and there. I have had a fairly easy time with the Lupron. I do not have that many side effects. I forgot about the migraines but I have them when I am not on the shot too. The hardest part is being at a stand still for six months. Going on the shots is a hard decision and not one to make lightly. If you have any other questions or just want to talk let me know and you can always pm me!
Thank you so much Bokkechick for the perfect siggie!!!
