Hi Ladies,

I had my lap on March 15, today AF came and i'm in more pain than I was prior to the surgery as well as experiencing heavy bleeding. Has anyone else had the same experience? If so how long after the lap did it last?

Hi and welcome! I went directly on the Lupron Depot shot after my lap so I didn't get a period after for months. I agree with Kerian. I would call your doctor.

Hi Ladies,

Thanks for responding. I will start Lupron later this month.

Spoke to the doctor's office and the nurse said it was normal and to expect it for a few months.

Hi Kerian,

First, I wish you all the best in your upcoming journey. I will keep you in my prayers.

The cramps subsided the day after AF came, it is very subtle now but I can feel them. I have a doctor's appointment next week, and will discuss even further with my doctor. I assumed after reporting the symptoms to the nurse and not being asked to come in sooner it is nothing to be concerned with.
