I think there is pleanty out there. We better get a list going to help us when the pests start to come out. I know we always seem to have an issue with tomato catipillers and those little black bugs on the watermelon.

Oooh. Cool. I will probably pump you for information then.

One that I know of is to spray soapy water.

No plans yet here. I'm lucky to remember to use miracle grow food every few weeks. I use bear on the roses but never anything on food plants.

i think you can use cayenne pepper to keep bigger pests away...like rabbits and squirrels.

True, true, somebody could have jumped the wall to pick it all off.

It was so weird, thats for sure. We walked out one day and said, ummm....where did all the fruit go?

Something stole my first half-ripe tomato of the year today. It was there this morning. Totally gone. I am going to have to do a chicken wire dome off the fence. we have a lot of rabbits and squirrels.

Wow! You already have a tomato?

I have no idea how you would keep all those things away. The only problem we always have with tomato plants are those dang catapillers. Man, those things eat the plants up quick.

my friend told me about this today...
Maxicrop Liquid Seaweed (Kelp Extract)
not necessarily that brand, but he said kelp is excellent for keeping away pests.
