So i have a windowsill of herbs (marjoram, basil, parsley, thyme, sage & rosemary).....theyre doing great and I have used them in cooking a number of times already with much success .......HOWEVER...(lol!) ....i found out this weekend that when you're pregnant you should limit all herbs, even in cooking, since the effects of herbs are not known well enough to be trusted.....and since were trying to concieve im eating as if i am pregnant.....soooooooo, yeah! that sucks! anyone want a windowsill full of herbs? lol!!!
it seems to be one of those controversial subjects...some people say herbs are fine, some say not...ive even read that its advisable to stay away from herbal teas when youre pregnant!!
everything ive read says most are 'probably' fine, but not 100% sure.....so im just going to use minimal herbs in my cooking and get creative! better to be safe
