I've got some and mine are pretty small too. This is the first year I've done strawberries, though, and the weather has been colder than normal. My garden is getting a late start.... so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the size or amount of strawberries I've had. Nothing to write home about yet.

I think the cooler than normal weather is probably what is having an effect because I planted my garden when we usually do and things just aren't where they usually are.

Here is what my strawberry patch looks like today.

I had a bunch in another planter up until this year and they had spread pretty well but then I saw the neighbors dog peeing on them through the chainlink fence. So yeah, they got moved.

My strawberries have been a flop, but I kind of expected that. I read somewhere that usually the don't do well the first year. I am hoping that next year my berries do much better. I did have a few decent berries but the Robins beat me to them.
