My banana peppers are coming in nicely but they all have purple streaks on them. The plant looks fine, it's just the fruit itself. I have never grown these before so I don't know what is normal. Any ideas?

I had that problem last year with my pepper plants. I think they got too much sun. Not 100% sure of that but I put tomatoes around them this year to see if it helps.

yeah my tomato plants are right next to them but are not that big yet. It takes awhile in Michigan to get the plants going lol My potatoes and lettuce on the other hand are out of control! I read somewhere that it could be sun scald or something like that which would be what you were thinking.....too much sun. Interesting, I thought peppers loved sun! lol

Yeah, I know what you mean. They are supposedly a full sun plant. It even looked like a burn mark on them though. So weird.
