Well, we bought some stakes and the black tarp stuff to start on the front of the house. We'll gradually be doing this and adding plants/painting the house. We've been remodeling the inside for a year now and it's time to start on the outside. This house is old and looks so yucky on the outside!

Will post a pic after it's done Not gonna be any flowers in it though. LOL!

Even if things aren't going great, pictures are still welcome.

I need to take a picture of my dead rubarb. How the heck did I manage that? That plant is nearly impossible to kill.

Weeds have completely overtaken my garden. The plants are still producing though. More heat, more hours at work, getting everything ready for the start of the school year and my kids finally coming home from their dad's has left me with little or no time in the garden. As soon as I find my camera I'll take a picture of my pathetic, weed infested garden. Be warned though...... it is not pretty! lol

One of our watermelons. We have three huge ones right now. Hope I pick them at the proper time.

One of the bell pepper plants. These are way behind this year but I guess the news was saying that our weather on average has been 7 degrees cooler than normal this summer.

These are the tomato plants. Sort of hard to see in the picture but there are cherry tomatoes and herilem tomatoes.

Asain Pears

Look at all that yummy fruit! Should be ready to go in about a week. I cannot stress enough how awesome it is to have fruit trees. High producing and super easy to take care off. We only prune them once a year after the leaves fall off. That's it hanks to the irrigation system.

Wow! Those sunflowers are super tall! I guess all those veggies are a good thing to come home to.

Had to dig these out of the ground but was happy to see that they kinda grew. Think they needed more water than what they got. We had some purple and white ones in there but when you peel the purple ones the are orange. :/

Great pics, ladies!

Here are a few of mine...

The girls enjoy helping to harvest ... which explains why some of the tomatoes aren't ripe. (bells, zucchini, squash, tomatoes)

I always end up missing zucchini, and they get HUGE. The one on the far right went from front to back on my stove. It was pretty heavy!

Onion, squash, zucchini, and tomato!

All cleaned....

Same story with the cucumbers, as the zucchini.... they hide and get huge! They are delicious, though.... and very crunchy!!

This is after giving tomatoes away to family and neighbors.
