Oh I love Blue Stone Perennials, well at least I love their catalog! I drool over flower catalogs but never end up having the extra cash to buy much. Maybe one day.
I save a lot of seeds too and buy the rest from local growers.
I discovered them last year. Once I found out that they are an Ohio business I knew I would buy. I spent about $125 I think and by the end of the season that money had grown to something I could not have purchased at any Blue or Orange. I highly recommend them!
It depends where I am when I buy seeds, sometimes it's at the grocery store and it'll catch my eye, sometimes the hardware store (one of those smaller places), or sometimes Home Depot.
I'm not starting seeds inside this year though, I'm 8 months pregnant and on bed rest, so that's out, plus we're going to be moving shortly after the baby is born. I'm a bit bummed that I won't be doing it, it was so much fun last year with my daughter, she's five now and she LOVED it last year.
Oh, I'm also going to try to take my roses when we move too. DH thinks I'm nuts but come on, I put so much work into them! They're coming with me. lol
