What type of soil do you use ? The plants that we bought that were ready just have regular soil. The plants that i plan on growing myself will have organic soil.
Do you have a plant that you think is difficult ? I don't have much experience so all plants are difficult lol. We did try Rosemary last year and it just didn't do well. So we are hoping to be more successful this year.
In the house we live in now I have flower beds and one huge planter that runs almost the length of our drive way. I also put a small flower bed in my backyard with a blue hydrangea that wasn't doing well in the front. With a huge dog though, let's just say he broke part of it off.
For soil I compost the heck out of it in the spring and bought quite a few bags of soil, cannot for the life of me remember what it is now but it was a mix of three things. The planter needed the most work, it was basically dirt so I took half of it out and amended it with bags of soil and compost. I do my own compost, we have two compost bins.
We're moving in a few months though, maybe less if our house sells quickly, so I have no idea what kind of garden I'll have this year.
