If so, what do you have?

I had apple and pears growing up. Also a grapevine, a walnut tree and some blackberry trees (or some type of berries lol). I LOVED them!!

We don't have any trees where we are now, but once we buy our land I'm totally into that

What do you do with your fruits? Just eat em? Can them? What do you make with them?

We had apples and pears when I was growing up. I'd love to have a little family sized orchard but I've been debating what to buy as we're not planning to stay in this house forever - I don't want to make a huge investment.

no fruit trees but would have had a fruit tree if we would have got this 3 bdrm 2 bath house for rent but we didn't which is a good thing because our ex stopped sending the child support so we wouldn't have been able to afford it.

We planted 2 pear and 2 plum one-year old trees last year so we will have to wait a few years to get anything.

We also put in 5 black currant bushes last fall.

I do have 3 nanking cherry bushes but I only got to eat 1 last year because the birds got them.

Corrupt,

I bought mine from Pépinière Ancestrale and they have good prices as far as I am concerned and you can get up to 3-year. And because they are grown in Quebec I am sure they will survive winters here.

Pépinière ancestrale - Liste

The sites in French - but I think you live in Eastern Ontario right? You can probably read it.

I was going to order hardy nectarines from this nursery this year but I need to keep some lawn for the babe to play on.

The Green Barn Nursery - Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Rare and exotic fruit trees, winter resistant. Environmental Seminars and Consulting.

lol I've only lived in this region for a few years. I can understand a bit but my french is limited to the crap they teach in school. I'm lucky to be fluent in english
My translator seems to be having issues so I'll have to try again later. Thanks for the link though - I asked for cherry trees for my birthday and I did see they have those

I have two grapefruit trees. I also had a lemon tree for many years but it died I grew all of them from seeds! The lemon tree was gonna be awesome, the lemons of that type grow to be the size of small grapefruits but my tree didn't get to produce fruit before it died. I grew all of them in pots up in NY for about 8 years, I kept them inside for the winter then put them out for the summer. The lemon tree lasted probably 6-6 1/2 years, they grew really slow, I assume it was due to only being outside for a few months a year. I still have the two grapefruit tress and they have doubled in size since moving here to FL. I am trying to figure out where I want to plant them and hopefully they will produce some fruit at some point!!!
