We have a meter stick and quite a few tape measures. Rich made me some spacers that are 30 inches (the width of our beds) and then he spaced out nails at 3, 4, 6 and I think it's 8 inches so that when I plant I just put the piece of wood on the ground face down and I know just where to drop the seeds. Eventually I would like to buy a row seeder but they cost around $200 or more and it is not in the budget right now.
I don't measure my seedlings. Will you plant them outside when they get to a certain size? It was so weird last year, we had a bunch of petunias grow that I never even planted! I think they got mixed in with some columbine seeds that I bought.
I will just bring their pot out when weather is past frost as we have had some cold june this year has been less snow and rain so far. So I'm just wondering if your going to get our rain during the summer.
