My 7 month old has two molars and two front teeth coming in. He is in a lot of pain. I have used the baby-oragel and tylenol and it doesn't seem to help. What is safe to use without too much risk? Normal oragel? He cries all the time - please help
few tips that will help are
1.look for teething symptoms. Which can be pain and irritation. I your case the pain and frustration is quite evident
2.Try to sooth your baby's pain by gently massaging his gums in circular motion with a damp cloth of even your finger.
3. Dry the drool of your baby as baby's tend to drool during teething.
4. give baby something to chew on.
5. provide your baby home-made and medical tooth relief. Do not use any medication without consulting a doctor. clove oil in a numbing agent and gently applying it on gums can decrease pain for sometime.its effective in adults as well.
I was using teething tablets until I read the back and saw that the ingredients included belladonna. It's probably safe in small doses? I just couldn't give it to her anymore because everytime I thought about it, I thought "I'm about to give my daughter belladonna." lol
