Hey everyone, hows the kiddo's doing?

Anastasia is doing well. Her eating has definitely slowed down though. I'm thinking her body has gotten used to food and now it's going down to a normal amount of eating. A different ped said that the doctor is using the wrong growth chart on her. Chris and I are both VERY short (he's 5'3 I'm 5'4) and that the growth charts are for kids that have parents that are at least 5'10 (dad) and 5'5 (mom). She said if we charted Anastasia on the appropriate chart she'd be in the 3rd percentile (Still low, but at least shes on the charts). I"m glad someone is taking our size into consideration.

i don't really post over here anymore but i thought i'd give an update on us.

brandon is doing great. he's still pretty little (about 24ish pounds) at over 2.5yrs old. he's still the smallest of all his friends but he's got tons of energy. i've noticed a major improvement with his eating lately. he's actually asking for food all the time! the other day he even brought me a fork and said he wanted to eat! never happens! i know he's not considered FTT anymore, but i still worry about his weight.

jack is AWESOME. he's the best baby ever. he's already 15lbs at only 4 mo old! he eats better than brandon ever has BUT brandon didn't start having issues until his 6 mo checkup so i feel like i'm kinda holding my breath with him. i do weigh him all the time. at his 4mo checkup he was 50% for everything....way higher than brandon ever has been.

hope everyone is doing well!!

Sounds like both Anastacia and Brandon (and Jack) are doing well! I'm so glad...

Caeden is doing okay too. He's back up around 21 lbs. 12 ozs., where he was before he started losing. After talking with the WIC growth clinic about what was going on with the Children's Hospital feeding clinic and their rules, they gave me some reassurances, and some good suggestions. They seemed to agree that perhaps we didn't need to be quite SO strict as far as Caeden being in his high chair, and as long as his meal and snack times were more structured, then that was the important thing. We came up with the idea to buy him one of those little toddler picnic benches, and let him eat his meals there... which i did. It seems to be going well.

At this point, i've decided that some of these battles just aren't worth fighting to me anymore. After over a month, it wasn't getting better, and it wasn't helping his weight, so... what's the point? It was pretty amazing to me how after over a month where he'd eat at most a few bites and be done, as soon as i got him that table and let him eat there, or bring it over for me to feed him, he ate his ENTIRE bowl. That sealed it for me, and i've been pretty much letting him do what we did before... only with slightly more structured mealtimes. If i get yelled at... at this point i don't care. I'm going with my mommy instinct here.

Okay wow... i had a lot more to say than i thought! Sorry for rambling...
