Did you talk to your doctor about supplementing? What about getting a referral to a feeding clinic or occupational therapist? Let me know how your appointment went.

He didn't see sean...it was for the littlest one. I asked him agian about the weight and all and he said to try to get him to eat (said everything that goes into his mouth should have calories). He'll do the next weight check in 6 months and we'll go from there. Asked about vitamins but said unless he stops eating fruits and veggies at least once a week not to supplement.

Thanks for asking.

How do you feel about this? I will tell you that I went through three different pediatricians before I found one that helped me with Brandon. If you are not satisfied with this I would look for a second opinion.

I really trust him....my dd was in the hospital for a week over the summer due to a nasty infection in her neck and he called us every day. He is really agressive on a lot of things...just not the weight issue yet. He says that as long as sean doesn't drop below the 3rd percentile that he's okay. We'll see what he says in 6 months. I might do the vitamins anyway since one vitamin a day can't hurt. I'll probably talk to my college roommate who is doing her residency in peds for a second opinion.

That sounds reasonable. Brandon was way below the third percentile for a while. He kept falling off the growth chart. Now he is in the tenth to twentyfirth percentile so I don't worry so much. I just get frustrated. I am afraid if I took the pediasure out of his diet he would fall off the charts again. I think I worry too much.
