I bought an infant scale at Babies R Us today. It said that Carly was 21.1 pounds . Much better than the 18 that my scale was saying. She is still "less than the 3rd percentile" according to the online calculators.

Yaay!

Buying my own scale was one of the best purchases i ever made... Totally worth the convenience, piece of mind, and consistency it bought.

awesome!! Go Carly!!! I weighed Anastasia the other day on ours and it said 20 lbs. I wonder how close our scale is to the doctors.

Great news on Carly's weight!! We don't have a scale at all here - I just realy on going to the GI and try not to drive myself too crazy in the meantime. My son is also below the 3rd percentile on the online calculators - does anyone know a site that will tell you where they are below the 3rd?

I think they just say below the 3rd because it's kind of hard to be in the negative percentile, you know? Like Anastasia isn't on the charts at all, she's in the "negative percentile" but as it's impossible for a babe to be in the negative they just give the generic "less than 3rd %"

Yeah, you are right. Cade isn't on the charts either, I am just always wondering how far off he is.
