Danny does not have Celiacs Disease! That is about as far as the good news goes. He is still flat lined for three months now at 23lb. 12oz on the GI's scales. We had a Bone Age x-ray done and will go back for the results the middle of August. If his bone age says that he is 12 months old for example rather than 24 months he will be sent to an endocrinologist to test his growth hormones and such as the GI cannot find anything that would cause him to not gain weight. Unless he gets a lot worse is isn't going to run anymore tests after this as anything else GI related it could be would be extremely rare and would require a lot of testing before finding anything. I hope he does well....

Glad he doesn't have celiacs disease! That's great news! Good luck with the bone age scan, hope results come back ok! Our ped wants to do a bone scan as well, but not until he's older. Not really sure why she's willing to wait so long (she was saying when he's 5). *hugs* Hope Danny puts on some weigh soon.

Thanks! His isn't a bone scan though...it is just an x-ray of his wrist so they can measure if his bones are the same as an average 12 month old or 24 month old..I am not sure if that is what she wants him to have or not but maybe a bone scan is different?

I think we're talking about the same test Our ped was explaining it.. it's just an x-ray of the hand/wrist and they age it.

Yep that is it! I wonder if it actually takes a month to get the results or they just got sick of seeing us every week! It was pretty cute the other day. His GI is great and we are really glad we finally found a good one. He was kidding around and said to just sprinkle some miracle-gro on him and he should sprout right up! I told him we would have to bathe him in it because he has so much catching up to do...I just thought was cute and had to share!

Glad about the celiac test! The doctor we saw ran that today... said we should know in a couple days. But he blew off all other concerns as far as deficiency of growth hormones or even another bone age test.
