Hi i am Becky i was here a few years ago... But i am back again with my newest addiion she was diagnosed with FTT and GERD

I just found this part of the board. My daughter hasn't been diagnosed with FTT, but she has moderate GERD and at 9 months she only weighs 14lbs 12oz.
I am hoping to become quite active on this board.

I posted 9 months ago and didnt find that there was much support... i think i may have went on a raint tho..LOL....

My daughter will be 8 on saturday and weighs 39 lbs .... had FTT and GERD and then i was told after the whole gastro/ endocrine flip flop that she was just going to be small... then i took her to the dr 9 months ago and they told me she was still in the 3rd percentile or so and that she was FTT still... UGH!

I'm so sorry. I can only speak for my self, but I know that DD's feeding and growth issues are so complex and not even doctors have a good explanation for it. I don't always know what to say to others whose situations are different, but equally complex. So sometimes I just stay away from this board, but I'd like to be more active and support others who are going through feeding and growth challenges even though I don't really have any good answers.
