Has your child had any testing done to see why they are having problems? If so, which tests?

Sorry, I just saw this...oh where to begin...

We have had the following testing done.

reflux
Celiac's
Cystic Fibrosis
Allergy
Growth Hormone
Pancreatic Function
General Genetic screening
Parasite
Infection
Stool Tests
Barium Swallow
Endoscopy
Colonoscopy
General GI biopsies
and probably a few others that I have forgotten about.

Ava has had all the above as well as DNA, MtDNA, rigid and flex. brochoscopies, LP, Muscle biopsy, skin biopsy, CT scans, MRIs , liver biopsy, u/s, Complete metabolic work-ups, EEG, ECHOs, etc... So many more....

Most of these have shown us effects of her Mitochondrial disorder. It's a devastating disease.

If you don't mind me asking what is it? Do the mitochondria not function properly or are there too few/too many?

Ava's don't function properly. This can system failures. Right now it effects her GI, liver, pancreas and immune system.

Milk Scan
Swallow Study
Routine bloodwork for her thyroid levels
Chromosome Microarray
