We thought we did. He was diagnosed with Isolated Chymotrypsin Deficiency last January but he has stopped growing again even with the enzyme supplements that are supposed to make him 100% better...we will see what happens Tuesday. We were supposed to get results from a second pancreatic function test last Tuesday but Danny got sick so we had to postpone it until Tuesday.

We are not really sure what exactly causes it, but we believe that it the FTT along with the heart condition and hypothyroidism are all connected to her NF1 which is caused by a microdeletion on Chromosome 17.

Ava's FTT is caused by her Electron Transport Chain Deficiency (Mito).

Dont really know. She doesnt eat enough, burns extra calories for her lungs, and is genetically small.
