One of my friends walked up to me yesterday and we started talking. We get to the how are you's and he said "Oh, I've got the flu." So I think he is kidding because who in their right mind would walk up to their friend knowing that their child is immunodeficient and just say that? So I was talking to him last night on FB and asked if he really had the flu or if he was just kidding. He doesn't answer. He walks up to me this morning after chapel and says, "I really do have the flu. The nurse told me it is still okay to go to class though as long as I don't cough on you or touch you." WTH!?!?!?!? You don't have to cough on someone or touch them to spread the flu! Especially not with Danny's immune system!!! I am so livid right now. What kind of people are alive today? Seriously!?!?!?! Where have peoples' brains gone?!?!?! GRRRRRR!!!!!!

I emailed the Dean of Students about the lack of policy surrounding this but so far I haven't gotten an answer...

Danny already had the flu once...if he gets it again my grades and absences will be suffering because of all of these idiots. BTW...the dean said that I just need to wash my hands. I wanted to punch him.
