I saw that Ava is home. Were they able to resolve the tachy or did they get her stable enough to go home and recommend follow-ups? I am really glad that she was able to come home so quickly.
Ava is still tachy (160-170 resting) and has to have an echo next week. They want her to start going to the cardiomyopathy clinic regularly. It freaks me out that she has to see a Dr about possible future heart failure due to her Mitochondrial disease.
Sorry... Mine doesn't get that high resting. It will get to 130-140 but only that high during an SVT episode...then it is over 250 but the machine quit counting.
Having to watch your little girl go through all this has to be the worst thing ever... I'm sorry she is having all these problems. Is she still in bright spirits or is she pretty worn out? Can they do anything for the tachy or is it too likely to aggravate other aspects of her mito?
