So yesterday we had Lyn's birthday party. I had this huge Safari party planned but the weather decided to give me a hard time and I decided to change the theme to ice cream. We had a long table set up with about 6 different kinds of ice cream in large wine buckets filled with ice, and we had pretty much anything you can think of to put on ice cream and I let the kids make their own sundaes, so there was no cake but LOTS of ice cream and other snacks. DF stuck a candle in her ice cream though so we still did the candle thing lol.
We had a rely race with plastic ice cream cones and pom poms and we played Pin on the Cherry, I made a large ice cream cone and used red pom poms of the cherries. Even Damien got to play
DF bought Lyn this
He wasn't planning on giving it to her until Monday, which is her actual birthday, but he gave it to her before all the guests arrived and she HAD to wear it
All in all it was a great party, unfortunately it was hard not having my mom there, my brother told me she was probably there even if we didn't know it and that she wouldn't miss Lyn's birthday for anything.
Hopefully all that ice cream put some weight on her
