but I haven't actually done it. He is not eating! He hasn't eaten really for a couple weeks. Just drinking pediasure. I am annoyed because, yes his weight is up to the 25th percentile now, but he is still not eating. I know if I take him off of this he is going to lose weight again. He hasn't eaten anything really for days and days. He is back to throwing his food on the floor. The doctor wants me to try taking him off of it and I just dont' want to. I don't feel like seeing him lose weight again.

My son was never FTT, but just was a very picky eater. If it hadn't been for Pediasure, he might have been. I had some friends say that if we didn't give him the Pediasure he would eat, I don't believe it. We ran out a couple of times, and he just got very cranky and still didn't eat. Peanut butter and pediasure are the reason he is healthy today. He gets better with his eating all the time (he's 7 now, and will even eat baby spinach on his ham sandwich at Subway! Wow! There is hope!

I'm not saying go against your doctor, but from my experience, I wouldn't give up pediasure for anything!!!!

I have decided the same thing. I am still giving him pediasure. He doesn't eat well enough and I just don't care. When he starts eating better I will take him off it. Its not hurting anything for him to take it.

We are about to put Jakob on pedisure as well. We are just waiting for the pedisure from medical supplier. Jakob doesn't eat well at all either. He fights me and cries when I try to feed him solids.
